Customer Wins Pebble Beach Best of Show!

The annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is widely regarded as the world's most prestigious gathering of rare automobiles. To win "Best of Show" at this invitation-only event puts one in very exclusive company, and represents an absolute dedication to quality.

We are delighted to announce that Griot's Garage products were used exclusively in preparing the 2008 Best of Show winner, a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta. Only 33 of these cars were completed for road use, with this vehicle being one of six privately commissioned Berlinettas. The car also carries a competitive pedigree, having won the first race held at Watkins Glen, in 1948.

Dennison International meticulously restored the vehicle, and then used Griot's Garage Machine Polishes to perfect its surface. Our Carnauba Wax brought deep color and an unmatched shine, allowing this Alfa to show off its spectacular curves on the concours lawn.

Bravo to our customer for this incredible achievement. Griot's Garage strives for perfection, and we're honored to have been part of the process.

Little Car, Big Victory

Griot's Garage was again invited to be the exclusive Car Care provider to the Seattle Italian Concours. We've been involved in this great event for over 6 years. Held along the Puget Sound waterfront in Des Moines Washington, this year's event drew lots of wonderful Italian Cars.

The Griot's Garage Preservation Award went to the owner of a wonderful little car that is rare and unique here in the United States. Richard Judy purchased his 1959 Fiat Millecento when he was in high school, drove it through his college years, and used it as the drive-away car at his wedding. Still in the family after many years of ownership, the care and love that has gone in to keeping this car original is obvious. It sports the original paint, interior, and engine. The car runs great and Richard plans to keep it forever. Congratulations Richard, and thanks for sharing your wonderful little car with us all!

President's Choice Pantera

Last year I used Griot's Garage Paint Cleaning Clay and won second place in the '70's and '80's division at the Northwest Historics. This year I spent the time to use the clay block, and followed that with each level of Griot's Garage polishes, and topped it all with Best of Show Wax. Using your orbital polishing machine was incredible... I've never owned one and have always polished my cars the old-fashioned way. I can tell you, I'll never go back!

When I got to the Mustang Roundup (a huge gathering of Mustangs and other Ford favorites), I quickly used some of your Speed Shine to remove the dust. Next thing I know, I'm receiving the President's Choice award! Everyone who saw the car commented on how fantastic the paint looked. You can bet the name Griot's Garage was mentioned more than a few times.

Thanks for making my car look great,
Chris K.

Scion Owners Win With Griot's

Several Griot's Garage customers won awards at this year's Scion Exposed event in Seattle. Over 400 cars were on display, including some of the best show and performance Scions in the country.

Scion owners know how to throw a party... carbon fiber, tiki torches, turbos, superchargers, and custom paint in every color imaginable dotted the landscape all day. Several industry celebrities were also on hand to judge and take a peek under the hoods!

Griot's Garage helped bring trophies to 9 of the 12 winners, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall and Best Paint. Employee Dustin Wilson won 1st place xA and Dealers' Choice xA using Best of Show Wax, Undercarriage Spray, Long Lasting Tire Dressing, and a host of other Griot's Car Care products. Congratulations to Dustin and all the winners at this year's event!
Dan's Porsche Wins Three

Approximately three years ago I purchased a 1997 Porsche 993 C4S and had it shipped from Seattle, WA to my home in Highlands Ranch, CO. I came across your website, which features by far the most comprehensive line of automotive car care products.

Last summer, I entered the C4S in my first concours event (24th Annual Exotic Sports Car Show & Concours d'Elegance). The C4S actually won three ribbons! First Place in Class N-4 (Novice, 1989 to present in Porsche), Favorite Porsche (voted by other owners who entered Porsches), and Top Score for Novice Class (out of all newbies at show). The attention given to details definitely mattered!

Well, again thank you for offering such a great assortment of products which provide "Car Care for the Perfectionist".

A fellow car fanatic & new "customer for life",

Chris' Truck Wows in Arizona

I've been using you products for years. When my wife Chris and I moved here to Arizona from California, I left all but a few products to my son-in-laws; they're now believers too! Now to the point; My wife entered her silver '72 Chevy Cheyenne in a large car show in Tucson recently, and although the competition was stiff, walked away with the "Classic Truck" award, using only your products. I want to personally say, "thank you". Let's face it, your products are simply the best and you've got a customer for life!

Respectfully,
Dwight M.
Tom's C3 Shows Well in Florida

I have always wanted a C3 'Vette, so I picked up a 1982 Collector Edition about four years ago. This year I entered the Corvette Garden Party at Cypress Gardens (about 150 cars) and took second place for third Gen stock 'Vettes. It was the first time I had entered my car for judging.

I feel that I owe much of the success to Griot's Garage. I used Speed Shine with the Paint Cleaning Clay, Best of Show Wax, Fine Glass Polish, Interior Cleaner, and Long Lasting Tire Dressing. Here is a picture of the car and trophy. The trophy was fabricated by the President of the Bay Area Corvette Club.

Thank you for your outstanding array of products. They made me a winner!

A Sweet Finish in Hershey

Friday morning here in Ohio (April 25), I woke up, the sun was out, and the weather was perfect. I looked at the forecast in Hershey, PA... sunny and warm. My head kept saying, "Road trip, road trip, road trip." So about 1pm, car packed with Griot's Garage detailing supplies, I started the 425 mile drive.

Saturday, I got up and washed the car, and went to the site of the Hershey Swap Meet "Peoples' Choice Concours". There were about 25 cars in my class. Mine was the oldest car, the least expensive car, and had the most miles. Nonetheless, I came in first -- which I can only attribute to the use of Griot's Garage products.

Best,
Brice K.
