I began with a pure rubber base and built in a recessed tub that will hold up to a quart and a half of liquid. Into the recessed tub, using high heat and pressure, I've permanently bonded a plush, German carpet. The carpet is a 550gsm Trimodal Tufted Polyamide (TTP) which is harder-wearing, has greater UV resistance and will keep its color much better than your typical automotive carpet. Its stain, mold and mildew resistant qualities make clean-up a snap. The backing is engineered with hundreds of built-in non-skid ridges that keep the mat in place without a need for fasteners or grommets. Made to fit any vehicle.
