To safely clean dust and contaminants from a plastic window on a convertible, a soft cotton cloth and our Plastic Cleaner works great. To remove mild scratches and restore clarity to plastic windows, use Plastic Polish. I've restored plastic windows in convertible tops that, at first glance, I thought I might have to replace. Plastic Polish will remove minor scratches. Note: If you have serious scratches in hard plastic (Lexan® and other polycarbonates), they will require cross hatch sanding and machine polishing, which will still produce only marginal results. (Think of it like a scratch in glass.) In this circumstance, I've found that it's better just to polish the area three to four times with Plastic Polish than to risk further damage.
