The jaws are designed to fit top and side battery terminals and have a whopping 400 amp rating. These cables are a generous 14 feet in length, which should take care of all of your needs. We sell them in 4 gauge (rated at 125 amps) or 6 gauge (rated at 90 amps.) 6 gauge are fine for almost every purpose, but for times when it is extremely cold and you have to turn over a farm implement, a big block or a high compression motor, the 4 gauge may be more appropriate.
