Oakley, long known for their cutting edge sunglass designs, hit a home run with these new shoes. After putting a pair of these shoes on and going for a spirited drive, my mind was made up. The sole is a high-grip vulcanized rubber engineered to optimize tactile response on pedals or the pavement. The finish is a self-extinguishing, fire retardant, soft split suede with contrasting gray stitching, racing stripe and flat, stay-tied laces. Or choose the wilder version made from smooth leather with contrasting colors (red and black, my favorite). Inside is a low friction textile liner and they are heavily padded around the opening. Gel filled heel pad with a removable liner. While these shoes look narrow (and they are for better heel-toe driving) the space inside will shape itself to the contours of your feet. Amazingly comfortable right out of the box and lightweight. Great for walking as well as driving. Specify color choice. Sizes run true in a medium (D) width. Men's sizes 8 - 11 1/2 by half size increments, 12 & 13. Choose from red & gray, black or black suede styles.
