Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Skid Marks I have a inclined concrete driveway (colored) which often gets skid marks from delivery trucks backing down and hitting the brakes, or an AWD putting too much to one wheel. A simple spray of this and a hose rinse, and the marks are gone.

will this product remove waxes and sealants?

Yes, the Oil and Grease Cleaner will strip your wax or paint sealant if it comes into contact with your paint surface.

Is this harmful at all to painted surfaces?  Do I need to shield painted surfaces?  I have an old 911 and I need to clean some areas with old grease and dirt around engine bay and in wheel wells.

is there a water less engine wash? should i be using the same wash as what i use for the car?

What brush should this item be used with when cleaning the engine bay?

We would recommend using one of Boars Hair Brushes. it would be soft enough for interior pieces but also stiff enough to effectively agitate dirt and grime from the surface.

whats the difference between "oil and grease cleaner" and "engine cleaner" . Other than cleaning strength, does one do a better job of cleaning rust and muck?

Oil and Grease Cleaner will go after petroleum based stains more aggressively than engine cleaner. I always use both when detailing engines. Make sure everything is cool to the touch, pre-rinse, then soak everything with Engine Cleaner and allow to dwell but not dry. Saturate any heavy oil or grease build up with Oil and Grease cleaner to loosen tough stains prior to agitating. Repeated use of Oil and Grease Cleaner may be necessary for stubborn stains or build up.

how effective might this product be on an oil stained garage floor (concrete) that has been this way for a couple of years

Long term stains in porous concrete can be very difficult to remove. Oil and Grease Cleaner will remove any residues on the surface but it is likely that the stain will remain if it has been allowed to soak in for a long period of time.
