Computing Support Analyst (Tacoma, WA)
Griot's Garage, a direct mail, e-commerce company offering products for the automotive enthusiast, is seeking a talented, energetic computing support analyst to fill an available full-time position at our corporate office in Tacoma, WA.
The ideal candidate has excellent analytical aptitude, possesses problem solving abilities, has strong communication skills and is a team player. Skills:
- Workstation Support - Ability to provide ongoing end-user support for all aspects of a Windows and Macintosh OS X based office including: troubleshooting, upgrades, installation, and user training.
- Server Administration - Capable of performing general server administration tasks in a Windows and UNIX environment. Experience with backup and restore procedures is desirable.
- Business Processes - A history of working with and providing automated business management systems desired. Knowledge of Synaro Advantage or Microsoft Dynamics systems a strong plus.
- Software Development - Abilities in development and delivery of dynamic web platform. Knowledge of software development lifecycles and tools valuable. Capability with SQL based databases such as SQL Server or MySql desirable.
- Network - General understanding of networking management with ability to provide configuration, troubleshooting and support for networked devices.
- Peripherals - Experienced with troubleshooting and supporting a variety of office peripheral equipment, such as printers, scanners, fax machines.
- Telephone - General knowledge of PBX or VOIP telephone systems, especially Inter-Tel Axxess an advantage.
- Software capabilities - Windows, Mac OS X, AIX/Linux, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL Server, Java/jsp.
- Educational requirements - Graduates with a bachelor degree, especially in computing or technical field will receive first consideration.

Contact Center Sales Representative (Tacoma, WA)

We are currently hiring for Inside Sales Representatives. This position is responsible for responding to inbound telephone/email inquiries. We would prefer 1-3 years Inside Sales experience for this position but candidates with a sharp mind and eagerness to learn will be strongly considered. We are looking for a self-motivated, goal oriented professional who thrives in a fun sales environment. This position is also responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to our customers at all times. Individuals should be motivated to find new ways to go above and beyond for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Field inbound sales and customer service calls/emails
- Respond in kind to customer e-mails, phone calls, or traditional mail in a professional, exceptional manner
- Capturing proper customer information
- Cross-selling additional related products
- Fielding technical product and process inquiries
- Maintain and uphold the highest levels of customer service without exception
Qualifications:
- Aggressive, motivated, self-starter who is passionate about their work.
- 1-3 years Inside Sales experience preferred.
- Is willing to build a long-term relationship with the customers and the company.
- Deal directly with customers to an equally exceptional standard either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
- Strong oral communication skills; able to have a well-structured conversation at every level.
- Ability to build rapport, qualify, present, and build value for sales opportunities.
- Ability to type 30-40 wpm with excellent spelling and grammar.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks successfully.
- Strong Microsoft Office Application Knowledge.
- Ability to perform well in a constantly changing environment; actively seeking new roles as needed within a customer centric work environment.
- Ability to understand new technologies and software for sales tracking.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
