Accounting Manager (Tacoma, WA)

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of statutory financial and accounting operations. Responsibilities include the accurate and timely preparation of filings and reports related to statutory compliance and financial statement preparation, tax management, account reconciliation and variance analyses, accounts payable, reserves and accruals, fixed assets, and other fiscal duties. The Accounting Manager's responsibilities will also include development and maintenance of a strong internal control environment, policies and procedures, accurate and timely payroll processing and recording, management and development of staff, and other duties as required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Guide and develop accounting staff in areas of accounting, A/P, and payroll processing
  • Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, billing, general ledger entries, reconciliation, credit card expense reporting, cash applications, collections, and payroll processing)
  • Responsible for delivering timely and accurate month end close including preparation of statutory financial statements, management reports, variation analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition for omni-channel sales environment (Wholesale, Retail, Direct, Ecomm, Events, Gift Cards)
  • Ensure strong internal controls to protect assets, including cash, inventory, and fixed assets
  • Develop variance analysis and other review techniques (ratio, trending, etc…) to identify savings and cost control opportunities
  • Understanding and application of manufacturing cost accounting techniques and impacts of changes to profitability
  • Coordinate and ensure accurate and timely tax preparation and attest review
  • Review payroll related activity and ensure timely payment of payroll and other tax obligations
  • Maintenance and revision of the chart of accounts, including cost and profit centers
  • Prepare State Sales & Use Taxes for multiple jurisdictions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, banking compliance reports, and various detailed analysis reports, including MISC-1099, as required
  • Maintain files and comply with record retention requirements
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned

Essential Abilities:

  • 2 years demonstrated management experience with 2-3 direct reports or equivalent

We have one opening for a Customer Experience Associate (CEA) with a sharp mind, eagerness to learn, and a strong desire to take care of the customer at every opportunity. The primary duty of every CEA is to assist customers with product and service questions and requests. This involves customer-facing sales and support, in-person and over the phone. The mission of the CEA is to ensure that each customer experiences the best quality service, while maximizing the efficiency of operations.

Forecast Analyst (Tacoma, WA)

This position will work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to monitor and continuously improve the process of fulfilling customer orders. The Forecast Analyst will come from a retail/consumer products background and have a strong understanding of the CPG industry, was well as experience with forecast analysis and maintenance. The primary responsibility is to provide input into the development and implementation of logistics, strategies, processes and tools to improve efficiency and be cost effective.

Key Duties & Responsbilities

  • Provide ongoing support of CPG inventory initiatives support analysis by developing inventory projection and goals, and identify and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop inventory projection and goals, and identify and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in quantifying and defining the scope for capacity, resource, logistics and supply chain planning.
  • Recommend improvements to procedures to reduce the cost and increase the speed of sales and operations planning.
  • Utilize forecast system to create an accurate SKU level demand forecast. This will be used for replenishment ordering, allocation, merchandise planning, promotional planning, etc.
  • Ensures best practices for assortment planning and makes recommendations to support allocation strategies and portfolio review.
  • Design new metrics and prepare reports and summaries of specific items to monitor forecast accurately and analyze sales and forecast patterns and trends, business seasonality and inventory.
  • Analyzes and recommends merchandise strategy and preps the portfolio analysis worksheets (to maximize sales and profitability).
  • Assist forecasts for all sales channels with the help of various statistical forecasting norms and business intelligence.
  • Coordinate with various teams and gather and explain data from multiple sources to formulate future sales forecasts and SOP.

Experience Desired:

Minimum 3 years working in Forecasting and/or Operational Planning in a CPG manufacturing environment required. Experience in the automotive surface care industry and/or manufacturing, working with both retail and non-retail channels a big plus. A passion for automobiles makes this a dream job.

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Formal Traing:

BS/BA in related field or equivalent work experience (Business or Supply Chain preferred).
