Direct Marketing Manager/Analyst (Tacoma, WA)

The Direct Marketing Manager/Analyst is responsible for development and management of high-impact, direct marketing strategies and programs to maximize customer engagement and ROI. Includes providing recommendations on product portfolio, direct marketing content, advanced customer segmentation, mail optimization, and promotional strategies across all direct marketing channels (digital & catalog) using advanced statistical analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem solving and analytical skills and be able to combine insightful data analysis and careful planning with smart and creative marketing tactics.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data to spot trends and make insightful recommendations on product assortment and promotional calendar in direct marketing channels (Catalog/Direct Mail and Digital Media)
  • Spearhead tests and develop financially-based business cases for new investments in offers and products to improve engagement and increase sales
  • Lead cross functional team in execution of high-impact, promotional plans for all direct marketing channels to drive incremental profits
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop long-term segmentation and personalization strategies for email and direct mail programs
  • Provide overall program management and strategic focus on lead acquisition, conversion and retention for direct mail and e-commerce platforms
  • Analyze customer file and discover characteristics of customer segments in order to maximize contribution across levels and influence new customer acquisition
  • Develop content strategy for all direct marketing vehicles (handbook, mail, web, email) utilizing consumer insights and sales analytics
  • Monitors and analyzes program campaign and channel performance to identify areas of opportunity for optimization and sales increases
  • Assists in the creation of internal analytics databases to ensure actionable outcomes for analyses and reporting
  • Draw meaningful insights by combining multiple data sources using advanced statistics and data mining techniques
  • Prepares list analysis, response analysis and marketing activity reports
  • Ensure alignment on priorities and direction by partnering with other groups and leaders to drive execution on all direct marketing activity for the appropriate areas of the business
  • Continually broaden and strengthen knowledge of analytical methods, vendors and tools

Experience Desired:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of Direct Marketing analytics experience
  • Experience with consumer products sold directly across digital media and direct mail required
  • Experience in the automotive surface care industry, working with both retail and non-retail channels, a big plus

Education/Licenses/Certification/Formal Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Forecast Analyst (Tacoma, WA)

Fast growing, Premium Car Care brand is looking for a Forecast Analyst to join their team. The Forecast Analyst will come from a retail/consumer products background and have a strong understanding of the CPG industry, as well as experience with forecast analysis and maintenance. The Forecast Analyst role will also be heavily Excel based, and therefore expert Excel skills are required.

Essential Functions:

  • Using sales data, and marketing input to generate and analyze a sales forecast used to drive materials planning and supply chain.
  • Analysis of planning system data to recommend process improvements and to assist in the validation and implementation of application and process upgrades.
  • Design metrics and prepare reports to monitor forecast accurately and analyze all sales trends.
  • Provide ad hoc forecasts, sales and prepare archive reports as requested to assist management decisions.
  • Analyze monthly forecast in Griot's systems and safety stock in aggregate by both pieces and dollars.
  • Make adjustments to the forecast and safety stock in a timely manner using the most effective method.
  • Initiate further analysis and recommendations on forecast and safety stock anomalies and integrate market intelligence into the forecast.
  • Continuously look for ways to benchmark and improve processes through analysis of methods and models.
  • Measure forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to quarterly consensus meetings with Marketing and Operations.
  • Assist to prepare inventory reduction initiatives for assigned product lines and rationalization process for product lines.

Purchasing Assistant (Tacoma, WA)

Griot's Garage is currently looking to fill this full-time position within our Tacoma Office. The primary focus of the Purchasing Assistant is to assist with all Purchasing and Inventory functions including, but not limited to, the creation of purchase orders, communicating with vendors and coordinating receipt of goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Send and confirm purchase orders.
  • Maintain backorder information and communicate updates.
  • Issue, send, confirm and deliver drop shipments.
  • Maintain product/vendor information in Advantage including contacts, lead times, vendor quotes, and all inventory maintenance data.
  • Manage wire transfers.
  • Run low level report and follow-up on low inventory items based on current demand, imminent deliveries, and late PO's.
  • Request and process Return Goods Authorizations for RTV Inventory.
  • Review location 90 inventory and troubleshoot any customer return issues.
  • Coordinate delivery of our manufacturing components with our Manufacturing Team and their calendar.
  • Create and maintain vendor issue information.
  • Communicate freight deliveries to customers and to our Receiving Department.
  • Work with Buyer and Merchandising Manager on vendor issue resolution.
  • Assist Buyer with new product development.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with supply chain and inventory management.
  • MS Windows Application knowledge. This position requires heavy use of Excel, previous experience is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to have a well-structured conversation at every level.
  • Personable - able to speak to customers and merchants with confidence.
  • Quality and accuracy is imperative. Excellent record keeping, prioritization and organizational skills a must. Ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
