Polishing or correcting the paint removes defects like swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation adding gloss, depth, and clarity to the finish and enabling you to achieve the paint perfection we all strive for. RICHARD'S TOP POLISHING TIPS
First do no harm. Always perform a test section prior to correcting the full car. Start with the least aggressive method necessary and adapt from there based on your initial results.
Check your work often with artificial light such as a high lumen LED flashlight to ensure you are achieving the results you expect.
Work in small sections, approximately 2' x 2' and don't rush through the job, perfection takes time!
Work with slow arm speed and light pressure. Moving the machine over the surface slowly with fast pad rotation allows the machine to do most of the work. Only use pressure when necessary.
