Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found a great tire shine product. Just applied this for the first time yesterday. I have gone through several tire shine products previously but this one seems like the best. The formula seems to be the correct thickness to spread easily but not run everywhere. I have not driven the vehicle yet but the attached pictures were taken 24 hours after application. It gives a high gloss which is what I was looking for. I also applied the new Best of Show detailer to my vehicle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top shelf !! After finally catching this product on sale for $3 off per can I took a shot and man was it worth it. Head turning shine no sling and great staying power. For optimum results, spray it on and then let the direct sun cook it into the sidewall at least 45 minutes per side of the car. On sale or not, this stuff is "Top Shelf. "

I am looking for the tire treatment that does not collect dust. I like my tires to look good but I have to drive on dirt roads. All the tire treatments I have tried collect dust. Can you help?????

I would recommend our Vinyl and rubber dressing or our Long lasting tire dressing as they will attract the least amount of dust

How does this differ from the Long Lasting Tire Dressing?

Long Lasting Tire Dressing will offer more robust durability and a lower gloss, satin finish when applied thin. Black Shine High Gloss Tire Gel is a thicker formula to provide the highest gloss available out of a gel style dressing. Black Shine Tire Gel features good durability but will not last quite as long as Long-Lasting Tire Dressing.

Can you tell me if this product affects tires (cracking, drying or damage) in the long term, due to silicones, since some tire manufacturers recommend not using dressings with silicones or based on petroleum distillates.

your products work,but I have a question on silicone that it is bad for tires,from tire manufacturers,that it will dry rot tires and it is in your tire dressings. a tire company will not warranty a tire if silic one is used.

Will this stuff dry? I've used this type of thing before and it splattered all over the sides of the car and was very hard to remove.

All tire dressings have risk of sling if over applied or applied to a dirty surface. We recommend cleaning the tires prior with our Rubber Prep or another appropriate cleaner. Then apply a small amount of Black Shine Tire Gel to your preferred applicator (our Blue Detail Sponges are perfect) and wipe over the tire evenly. If necessary you may lightly wipe it down with a clean micro fiber cloth to remove any excess build up.

Does this remove the browning on brand new tires?

Black Shine High Gloss Tire Gel will hide the browning but not remove it. For complete removal I recommend cleaning with our Rubber Prep prior to applying any tire dressing. Cleaning the surface first is always best practice as it ensures the best appearance and performance possible. Using Rubber Prep is as simple as applying some to a cloth or sponge you don't mind getting dirty, then thoroughly scrubbing the tire and wiping dry or allowing to evaporate.

Hi, I've previously used the Long Lasting Tire Shine, but didn't like it.  I tried the Black Shine which resembles the LLTS, but seems like a better product.  Can it be applied in several coats? How about other external rubber and/or trim?

Black Shine Tire Gel can be applied in multiple thin coats to achieve a higher gloss level. It is designed for tires but can also be used on other bare rubber or plastic trim pieces.
