How do I determine what "moderate" is?

When it comes to determine the "moderate" look. This is when the headlight is cloiudy or has a fogged look.

Will this kit remove previous spray on uv protectant?

No, our moderate headlight restoration kit will not remove previous spray on UV Protectants. Our Severe Kit however will since the process involves sanding

How cold or hot can it be outside when I use the ceramic headlight restoration kit? Must the headlight be cool but not be too cold (like late fall or early winter)?

We recommend temperatures of 50 degrees or higher, as humidity is going to be more potential at temps any lower.

I have a Merc 2005 500 SL. I think the light lenses are polycarbonate; does the ceramic kit work on those lenses?

Does this product work on plastic outer lenses or is this just for glass headlights?

Plastic lenses.  Glass does not cloud up like plastic does from UV exposure.
