Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Solution I've bought 4 of these, one of which i gave to a friend. Another friend saw mine and ordered their own. That's how you know it is a good idea. It is important to get the floor fairly clean, otherwise they may skid a little. At least that is what happened to the one my wife uses. Originally, I positioned her's in front of her right tire, but she had trouble "feeling" when the wheel bumped into it, and consequently, sometimes parked on top of it. This made it skid a little, I think. So, I positioned it in front of her driver side wheel so it is easy to feel as you roll up onto it, and then roll back slightly. The adhesive is strong. It is possible to lift it up and re-position it, but it takes multiple big screwdrivers and wedges and several days of constant pressure to get it to release.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great but need redesign These work great but do not hold up to long term use. I have one for my Honda Accord and Pilot and both have cracked and compressed. Griot's warranty is great as they are replacing both at no charge. These need to be solid rubber and would be much better than the hollow piece with the center strip. They need to be redesigned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stop on the dime! Very nice bump stop. I bought two of these probably 4 years back, one for the F350 and one for the Subaru Outback. Clean the concrete, and the stops stick FOREVER. After about four years, the one for the F350 collapsed and I ordered a new one ($20). Two months later, the one for the Outback collapsed. Darn it. Couldn't they have collapsed at the same time to save me the shipping. ;-) Regardless, these rock. I could not recommend them more!

Why did our stops shift on the adhesive pad?  No longer in the same place as installed/at an angle

When installing the Parking Stop be sure to thoroughly clean the area before applying. If the area is not clean properly the park stop may shift. The Parking Stop may not adhere as well to a rough surface. The Parking Stop does come with a lifetime guarantee against defect. We will either repair it, replace it, or credit your purchase price if we are able to do neither. Some items have a life span during normal use and they wear out. Our warranty does not include replacement of such items after normal use. Of course our guarantee doesn't cover abuse.

Once this item is adhered, how would I remove it? We may be moving in a year and I don't think the new owners would want it.

The Floor Stop is easily removed by using 3M Adhesive Remover (15744).

will the adhesive on these parking stops lift / ruin the surface of a polyurethane floor? Will they still work if the floor is not perfectly smooth (paint chips in the finish)?

The Parking Stop will work on a polyurethane floor. The Parking Stop may not adhere as well to a rough surface.
