Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprising sealant I'm no detailing pro, but I have come to appreciate this product. Coupled with the black boss pad it's a great all-in-one for mild paint defects. I used it on a 2011 black rav4 with shocking results. I was not expecting much as the paint was never corrected, but the results were better than expected. Initially I only expected minor improvements and some protection via the sealant. I can't comment on the sealant as it has been less than a week, however the correcting abilities are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazed again! Got up this morning and decided my ‘15 R/T Plus Challenger was ready for a paint maintaince/correction. Being Pitch Black Clearcoat it’s important to stay on top of it plus, I wanted to have a great Saturday! After washing w/Griots wash, I clayed with my Griots yellow synthetic mitt, dried w/my Griots PFM drying towel and then got my 6”Random Orbitial out and got ready! The paint wasn’t all that bad so I decided to used my black Finishing pad and try the new bottle of Boss Finishing Sealiant that I had recently purchased. After doing the hood and front clip I inspected my work and wow is all I was able to say! Really folks, it was unreal that I could use one product,get rid of swirl marks and leave behind a deep,wet,glossy shine! It really does like the video shows. Honestly ! You owe it to yourself and your vehicle to use Boss Finishing Sealiant. It saves a lot of time by only having to do one step ( no waxing after you’ve polished) and really put the depth and clarity in your paint!

can this Boss finishing sealant work on glass and metal?

For your glass I would recommend our Glass Polish item 11063 or Fine Glass polish item 11017. For metal I would use our Metal Polish item 11238

I have 2 cars I would like to correct, a 18 Rogue and a 17 Chevy cruz. both black, I want to correct the light wash scratches/swirls but unsure of protection step. your new ceramic spray or finishing sealant and then wax? have a G8 & G9 want wet look

I would recommend our correcting cream with the Orange foam correction pad. Once finished if everything looks good you can apply your favorite wax. If you are wanting the most color, depth, and clarity then I would recommend either our Best of show wax as that has the highest concentration of Carnauba wax, or our Premium Carnauba paste wax.

Can this product be used over a matte black vinyl decal/stripe without affecting the vinyl, or should I tape off the stripe?

Can users expect 2-3 months of protection from the BOSS Finishing Sealant? 6+ months? Or should this be treated more as a gloss/shine enhancer with limited protecting qualities?

There are too many variables to place an accurate timeline on durability. Including vehicle color, paint type, environment, maintenance methods and more. Based on our in house control, we saw durability ranging from 2-3 months depending on environment & maintenance. Finishing Sealant contains state of the art Sub-Micron abrasives which can be flexed from light all-in-one defect correction and paint protection, to moderate defect correction when using a Micro Fiber pad and a G15/G21. It finishes down better than any other product on the market, leaving near perfection. It does contain waxes and polymers which contribute to ease of wipe-off, extended buffing time and increased depth & durability. For increased durability, we’d recommend topping with Premium Carnauba Paste Wax, Poly Wax or Paint Sealant via a 6”Random Orbital and a Red Waxing Pad.

Is this workflow ideal? Paint prep with wash>Clay>Correcting cream>Finishing sealant>Poly wax (daily suv) / Best of show wax (weekend sports car) Every few months, repeat Paint prep with Wash>Clay>Wax, until need to correct again.

That is perfect workflow, however I would not use the paint prep every three months. Maybe once or twice a year to strip any old wax and polish.
