Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subtle is key Having worked in new car dealerships in the past, I saw how the trends for tire dressing were changing toward glossier products. Now, while Griots does sell all manner of tire dressings, the Vinyl & Rubber Dressing is, by far, the very best in my opinion. SUBTLE is best and doesn't look unnaturally stupid to me (is black tire rubber ever supposed to look glossy?), so I thoroughly enjoy using this product for the "correct" appearance and protection it provides. Plus, it is versatile since it can be applied to both exterior and interior vinyl and rubber surfaces. If you are into a more subtle, like new, appearance for your tires and interior vinyl, then this is the product for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS STUFF IS AWESOME!!! Griot's dressing restores like nothing else. I've used it on cars that are 18 years old and after a few regular treatments the old, sundried and faded rubber and plastic looks brand new. I even use it on my 3D archery targets that get left out in the elements year 'round. After spraying em they look brand new. I just wish the gallons they send me came with a box of treated towelettes I could hand out to others on the road...I see so many vehicles that would benefit from this product if they knew about it. I make the local car wash use my dressing instead of Armor All. I have converted many people there! Neighbors too. It's an item I buy again before I run out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THIS IS THE BEST DRESSING OUT THERE The quality of this dressing is hard to beat. While its not a high gloss shine it allows you to apply it in layers to gain the level of shine that you are looking for. I don't like my interior to be too shiny but I do like my tires to shine. So this dressing gives me latitude. I also like this product because it doesn't sling off your tires. The only thing I'm disappointed about is Griot's discontinued the 35 oz bottle. This item is a little pricey so I understand why they brought in the 22 oz bottle but it creates a large gap between it and the gallon bottle. So you either go big or you go small.

Can this be used on motorcycle tires?

Not to disagree with GG_John but if you stay on the sidewalls and make sure you don't get any in the tread area you should be alright. I have been using this on my motorcycle tires for years and with a tire specific applicator (curved) it works great. Again, us lightly and stay off of the tread

Can this be used on leather seats?

Car builders started using coated leather for their leather seats around 1991. Nothing is going to soak into the leather, because it essentially has a clear coat, just like the paint. Vinyl & Rubber Dressing is probably the best solution for those seats. I have tried it and have not experienced the seats being slick. That being said, if it is not coated leather, I agree with GG_John. To test it, scrub a small, inconspicuous, horizontal area with car wash solution and then put a few drops of water on it. If the water soaks in quickly, it isn't coated. I gave a bad review to Leather 3-in-1 Spray, because I didn't know this. Sorry Richard. On uncoated leather, it would be fine.

Yes we do carry Vinyl & Rubber Dressing in the gallon size (11175). However, it does not come in the 11356 - Your Favorites Gallon Collection. The 11356 Includes one gallon each of Car Wash, Window Cleaner, Wheel Cleaner, and Speed Shine.

How long does the vinyl & rubber dressing last on exterior trim? In other words, how durable is the product?

Vinyl and Rubber dressing is amazing on exterior trim, unfortunately is water based. You might try either our Ceramic trim wipes item 11524 or the Black shine trim restorer 10858. Both of them will return your natural color and protect your exterior trim as well as add more long lasting protection.

when do I used Vinyl & Rubber dressing or interior detailer

Interior Detailer is like a quick detailer for your interior. It is normally used to wipe down surfaces to remove light dust and residues. Vinyl and Rubber Dressing is strictly a dressing that should normally be applied to a surface that has already been cleaned. Interior Detailer will not change the appearance of the surfaces it is applied to. It leaves a natural OEM appearance. Vinyl and Rubber Dressing enhance the appearance of the surface darkening it slightly and leaving a satin finish behind. Both products provide UV protection. If you were using both you would use Interior Detailer first then follow it with Vinyl and Rubber Dressing.

I checked the ingredient list and saw this contains a form of alcohol. I know isopropyl alcohol can remove waxes and sealants. If this would run off my convertible top after a rain storm, would it remove any wax or sealant on my paint? Thank you.
